Flippers is what we call online marketers that represent 5 or 6 different warranty companies. They build their websites around the features and benefits of the most reputable company they offer in order to lure you in, and then they recommend another company to you that you have never heard of. The policy they end up flipping you to is typically cheaper for them and results in them making more money. Unfortunately, many times it is at your expense.
Always do business with a captive company. It's the same principle as buying your auto insurance.
